CuanTec Ltd is a Scotland-based marine-science business, going live in May 2024 at oursite in Central Scotland, after 7 years of development. CuanTec produces Chitosan, which meet the high technical and quality standardsequired by customers acting in premium markets. CuanTec is now producing samples with a viscosity of 5,000 cps. Our launch product is available as a dried powder, packaged in a range of foil packs and airtight drums CuanTec’s feedstock is crustacean shell, a byproduct of the prawn-fishing industry, fromwell-established, reputable aquaculture companies currently providing fresh/frozen fish, and shell-fish products for UK supermarket shelves.
